The spring/summer schedule is filling out quickly. We’ve already had several bowling tournaments (both Ty and I) and still have a few to go. Ty bowls AZ State USBC Youth May 5th & 6th in Tucson. I drew an archery elk tag this year so our summer camping plans have partially been set for us. We’ll be up in Arizona unit 6A this summer camping and archery deer, turkey and elk hunting. Ty still hasn’t drawn an elk tag and neither of us drew for antelope. We’re hoping to draw a fall deer tag and maybe a fall turkey as well. There’s a wedding in San Diego this summer and I’m sure we’ll find an excuse to hit Las Vegas or Disneyland depending on my work schedule….busy!

Well the “winter” is over for us desert dwellers. Lots of activity this spring thus far. We’ve had several bowling tournaments including the Metro Phoenix USBC Youth where Ty took first in Team and 3rd in Doubles. That qualified him for the Arizona Tournament of Champions. We weren’t able t make it to Sierra Vista for that one due to scheduling. I bowled the USBC National Open Championship in Baton Rouge, LA.

Time is short so more to come later.

We rang in 2012 in Grand Junction, Colorado with my sister and her family. Good times were had by all but we’re glad to be home.
